Cu-ETP (Electrolytic Tough Pitch Copper), designated as CW004A / C11000 / 2.0060, is the most widely used high-conductivity pure copper grade in the world. With a purity level above 99.90% and electrical conductivity reaching up to 100% IACS, it is accepted as the standard solution for electrical and energy transmission systems.
Thanks to its slight oxygen content, Cu-ETP provides high conductivity while maintaining good formability and cost-effective manufacturability, making it suitable for numerous applications such as busbar systems, cable conductors, bars, coils, and electrical connectors.
Technical Advantages:
- Very high electrical conductivity (approximately 100% IACS)
- Excellent thermal conductivity
- Good formability and pressability
- Weldability (recommended especially in non-oxidizing environments)
- High purity (minimum 99.90% Cu)
- Economical and widely available
Main Application Areas:
Electrical Distribution: Busbars, power transmission bars, connection terminals
Cable & Wire Manufacturing: Power cables, coil winding wire, magnet wire
Motors & Generators: Rotor/stator windings, commutators
Electronic Hardware: PCB connections, low-voltage components
Heat Transfer Applications: Cooling tubes, heat exchangers
Standards and Compliance:
EN: CW004A
UNS / ASTM: C11000
DIN: 2.0060
Other Names: Cu-ETP, Electrolytic Copper, Tough Pitch Copper
All products are delivered with conductivity measurements, chemical analysis reports, and mechanical test certificates.
Fully compliant with RoHS and REACH directives.
