Cu-OF (CW008A / C10200 / 2.0040) is a high-purity oxygen-free copper alloy containing more than 99.95% copper. Owing to its low oxygen content, it offers both high electrical and thermal conductivity as well as excellent formability. Its resistance to hydrogen embrittlement makes it a reliable choice in vacuum-operated systems and gas-tight applications.
Cu-OF provides superior performance compared to standard pure copper, especially in sensitive applications such as electrical and electronic components, power transmission systems, heat exchangers, vacuum technology, and brazing/welding parts.
Technical Advantages:
- High electrical conductivity (≥ 100% IACS)
- Excellent thermal conductivity
- Low gas content and high purity
- Resistance to hydrogen embrittlement
- High formability and easy machinability
- Suitable for vacuum and high-frequency applications
Main Application Areas:
Electrical & Electronics: Busbars, coils, conductive bars, connectors
Energy Systems: Transformer connections, generator components
Vacuum Technology: Vacuum chambers, gas-tight sealing components
Heat Transfer Systems: Cooling tubes, heat exchangers, cryogenic lines
