CuNiBe (CW110C / C17510 / 2.085) is a high-performance copper alloy containing nickel and beryllium, combining high hardness with medium-to-high electrical conductivity. Classified under RWMA Class III, this material delivers exceptional resistance to wear, impact, and elevated temperatures while maintaining strong electrical performance.
Thanks to its beryllium-containing structure, the alloy achieves outstanding hardness and mechanical strength after heat treatment, making it indispensable for high-stress applications such as resistance welding electrodes, mold components, spring production, and connector systems.
Technical Advantages:
Medium-to-high electrical conductivity (approx. 45–60% IACS)
High hardness after heat treatment (typically HRc 38–44)
Excellent resistance to wear, deformation, and cavitation
Dimensional stability at elevated temperatures
Anti-magnetic and non-sparking characteristics
Suitable for machining and welding operations
Primary Application Areas:
Resistance Welding: Electrode tips, pressure tips, welding contact components
Tooling & Molding: High-speed mold components, injection mold systems
Electrical & Automotive: Springs, connector components, current-carrying parts
Defense & Aerospace: Precision mechanical components exposed to thermal stress
Industrial Production: Surfaces requiring high wear and impact resistance
Quality Assurance & Standards:
The CuNiBe alloy fully complies with the following international standards:
EN: CW110C
ASTM / UNS: C17510
DIN: 2.085
RWMA: Class III
All products are shipped certified and fully traceable, following extensive quality control procedures including chemical analysis, hardness testing, conductivity measurement, and microstructure inspection. The alloy is compliant with RoHS and REACH directives.
