CuNiBe – Termomax (CW110C / C17510 / 2.0850) is a high-performance copper alloy containing nickel and beryllium, offering high temperature resistance, excellent wear performance, and medium-to-high electrical conductivity. Classified under RWMA Class III, this alloy is ideal for resistance welding electrodes, tooling and moldmaking, automotive connector systems, and high-speed production lines.
Despite its high hardness, Termomax provides good machinability, and its mechanical properties can be further enhanced through heat treatment—delivering long-lasting and stable performance under demanding operating conditions.
Technical Advantages:
- Medium-to-high electrical conductivity (45–60% IACS)
- High hardness after heat treatment (typically HRc 38–44)
- Dimensional and structural stability at elevated temperatures
- Strong resistance to wear, impact, and friction
- Suitable for machining and welding operations
- Non-sparking and anti-magnetic characteristics
Primary Application Areas:
Resistance Welding: Spot welding electrodes, pressure tips, welding strips
Tooling & Moldmaking: Cooling cores in injection molds, hot runner components
Electrical & Automotive: High-voltage connectors, connector springs
Defense & Aerospace: Precision components exposed to thermal load
Industrial Production: Long-life metal contact surfaces in high-speed systems
Quality Assurance & Standards:
CuNiBe – Termomax fully complies with:
EN: CW110C
ASTM / UNS: C17510
DIN: 2.0850
RWMA: Class III
All production batches undergo extensive quality control, including chemical analysis, hardness and conductivity testing, and microstructure inspection. Products are shipped certified and fully traceable, and are compliant with RoHS and REACH regulations.
