| DESCRIPTION
OF THE MATERIALS: |
| CuCo2Be
Copper Alloy contains approximately 2,5% Cobalt, 0,3% Nickel and 0,5%
Beryllium. After hot forging and heat treatment
processes this material gains considerably good hardness with good
electrical and thermal conductivity. Compared to
CuCoNiBe, CuCo2Be has slightly better mechanical and physical
properties. |
| APPLICATIONS
: |
| Spot
welding electrodes, electrode holders and seam welding discs in resistance
welding. Plunger tips in Aluminium Die Casting
machines. Injection nozzles, cooling pins in plastic injection machines.
Moulds for casting of non-ferrous material. Chill moulds
in casting of brass and bronze material. |
