| DESCRIPTION
OF THE MATERIAL: |
| Containg
approximately 2,4% Nickel, 0,7% Silicium and 0,4% Chromium after hot
forging and heat treatment processes this alloy gains relatively good
hardness, electrical and thermal conductivity. CuNi3Si+Cr is an alternative
to CuCoNiBe alloy without contaning Berylium. |
| APPLICATIONS: |
| Spot
welding electrodes, electrode holders and seam welding discs in resistance
welding. Plunger tips in Aluminium Die Casting machines. Injection
nozzles, cooling pins in plastic injection machines. Moulds for casting
of non-ferrous material. Chill moulds in casting of brass and bronze
material. Due to its good surface quality, homogen and fast cooling
rate this alloy has an excelent working performance. CuNi3Si+Cr alloy
is an Beryllium free alternative to CuCoNiBe alloy |
